LG is going release its next flagship Android smartphone in the South Korea called the LG LU6200. Photos of the upcoming LG LU6200 smartphone have recently surfaced and it looks like the handset will be exclusively available in South Korea initially. If you’ll take a look at its images then you’ll see that the handset resembles the world’s first dual-core smartphone, G2X (aka Optimus 2X). The LG LU6200 4G LTE smartphone is designed for those looking for an alternative of the Samsung Galaxy S2. According to the leaked information, the LG LU6200 will have almost similar specs with the Samsung Galaxy S2 and claming itself as a competitor to the Galaxy S2. As per its specs, the upcoming LG LU6200 Android smartphone probably running on Android Gingerbread platform, powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, Adreno 220 GPU, and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. It brings a 4.5-inch AH-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen 16M colors display. Supposedly be the worlds first smartphone with AH-IPS display technology, claimed to be a real rival to Super AMOLED display though consuming less power.
In addition, it packs a 8 megapixel (3264×2448 pixels) autofocus camera with LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection functions. It also packs a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video chat. The LG LU6200 is a stylish yet high-performance portable 4G LTE smartphone that has 10.5 mm thickness, and 123gram. Reportedly, the LG LU6200 Android smartphone will be available later this year (2011, Q4), expected to be released in South Korea on 26th September, 2011.
