Belakangan ini kita tahu pihak RIM sepertinya kurang bersemangat mengeluarkan produk terbarunya. Namun pada ajang BlackBerry Media di London RIM memperkenalkan tiga ponsel sekaligus, salah satunya Blackberry Torch 9860.

Blackberry Torch 9860 hadir dengan full layar sentuh (touchscreen) berukuran 3,69 inci dengan didukung Blackberry OS 7 terbaru dan berjalan dengan prosesor 1,2 GHz. Dengan hadirnya BlackBerry OS 7 pada Blackberry Torch 9860 membuat smartphone tersebut sangat responsif, memiliki interface engine baru, dan suguhan animasi menarik yang dapat berubah-ubah.

Pada Torch 9860 terdapat kamera 5MP yang dilengkapi fitur autofokus dan mampu merekam video 720p. Selain itu, kamera ini juga mampu melakukan zoom hingga 4x. Blackberry Torch 9860 ini juga bakal hadir dengan fitur BlackBerry Messenger 6, yang merupakan BBM versi terbaru yang lebih sosial dan berfokus untuk ‘easy sharing’.
